We didn’t just break;
We shattered.
Smashed irreparably into fragments.
I cannot conceive that time will grind
The shards of us to sand.
You've got to be bad to get good
We didn’t just break;
We shattered.
Smashed irreparably into fragments.
I cannot conceive that time will grind
The shards of us to sand.
Missing you is a sickness.
Love may be a blessing
But I can’t help hating
That even my own body rejects me.
I am alone.
A puppy falls in love with a lamppost.
Forgetting it has been forcibly chained.
Accepting the cold metal indifference.
Sitting together silently in the rain.
Sitting too close to strangers on the train:
– Is my new hobby
– Is the perfect past-time for someone who’s lonely but not too creepy-looking
– Is generally frown upon
– Is certainly unnecessary but oddly enjoyable

Put me in an igloo.
Bury me in ice.
That frosty dome will be my home–
My pallid paradise.
Leave me in my igloo.
Leave me there alone.
The chilling breeze may stave disease,
But frost will touch my bones.
Silence in my igloo.
Quietly I freeze.
A single tear in mourning here;
A diamond on my cheek.
